Lev Memo provides a set of smart layout templates to help you easily structure content. Smart layouts let you create visually organized Memos without worrying about formatting and alignment.

Smart Layouts are pre-designed components that simplify content structuring and formatting. Whether you're creating different cards, comparables, or galleries, these templates keep your content polished without manual adjustments.

Add a smart layout
Via slash command or Insert menu
- Trigger the insert. Type
/[smart layout name]on a slide, or open the Insert menu. - Choose your layout. Pick the desired smart layout from the list.
By adding a new slide
- Insert a new slide. Click the + button to add a new slide below any slide.
- Pick a Smart-Layout template. In the template modal, choose a template from Profiles or Content that includes a Smart Layout — for example Meet the Team, Statistics, Key Points, Icons with Text, or Images with Text.
Edit a smart layout
Editing content inside a smart layout works the same way as editing it outside one.
- Click the component you want to edit. Click on the text, image, or table inside the layout section.
- Make your edits. Perform any edits as needed.
Swap layouts
- Open the layout toolbar. Click the vertical dots menu on the layout you want to change.
- Swap to a new template. In the toolbar, the first option on the left lets you swap between smart layouts. Lev Memo adjusts the content for you.
Style a smart layout
- Open the layout toolbar. Click the vertical dots menu on the layout you want to style.
- Adjust the style controls. Use the styling toolbar to set:
- Direction — cards arranged vertically or horizontally
- Spacing — the space between cards
- Padding — the margin within each card
- Column Size — how wide each card is
- Background Color — the card background
- Shape — the shape of the card
You can also style each card individually.
FAQ
Why does my card not fill all the way?
The width of the cards depends on the column size setting. Play around with different options here to see what works best for your Memo!
What if I chose a layout I don't like?
You can easily switch to another template by opening the Smart Layout's toolbar (via the vertical dots menu in the top-left of any smart layout) and then choose a new template.
