Updated April 2026

Introduction

Images are a critical part of any CRE document. Property photos, floor plans, and supporting visuals make the story clearer. In Lev Memo you can add, replace, crop, and lay out images without leaving the editor.

Add an image

  1. Insert an image block

Type /image or /gallery on a slide, or open the Insert menu and choose Image.

An image placeholder appears on the slide.
  2. Choose a source

Click the image placeholder and pick a source:

    • Image library
      • Upload a file from your computer.
      • Deal files — assets from the deal appear here automatically when available.
    • Web search — browse royalty-free options.
The image is placed in the block.

Replace an image

  1. Open the image toolbar

Click the image to open its toolbar.

    The image's controls are visible.
  2. Pick a new asset

Choose the image / library control, pick a new asset, and click Apply.

The new image replaces the previous one in place.

Set a focal point

Available for accent images and for images inside smart layouts (not every plain image block).

  1. Open the focal point control

Select the image, open its menu, and click the focal point (crosshairs) icon.

A crosshair overlay appears over the image.
  2. Set the focus point

Click where the crop should center.

The crop repositions around your chosen focal point.

Crop

Available for standard uploaded images in the regular image component.

Select the image → Crop in the toolbar → adjust → Apply.

Galleries group multiple photos in one block — useful for property tours and amenity sets.

  1. Insert a gallery

    Type /gallery or use InsertGallery.

A gallery block is placed on the slide.
  2. Add photos

Click placeholders to add images. On desktop, hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and click to select multiple files at once.

Your photos populate the gallery cells.
  3. Pick a layout

    Choose one of:

    • Grid — even cells, fixed feel
    • Flex — wraps rows by width
    • Column — one row, flexible column widths, equal height
    • Stacked — one column, equal width, flexible row heights

Drag the gallery's outer edge to change vertical size.

The gallery arranges your photos in the chosen layout.

Accent images

Accent images span edge to edge inside a card — great for hero shots, aerials, and maps.

Add or place an accent

  1. Open slide settings

Click the page / slide settings icon above the top-right of the slide.

The slide styling controls are visible.
  2. Choose an accent position

Pick where the accent should sit.

The accent region appears on the slide.
  3. Add or update the image

Use the accent's menu to add or update the image.

The accent is filled with your chosen image.

Edit the accent

  • Swap art with the add/update control, or delete the image / whole accent with the trash icon.
  • Drag borders to resize the accent region.
  • Use the crosshairs icon to set the focal point.
  • Toggle Fit image so the full photo stays visible in the frame.

Images in smart layouts

The Image with Text (Text with Image Boxes) layout pairs copy with a dedicated image area — handy for comps, tenant stories, and similar slides.

  1. Insert the layout

Type /Text with Image Boxes or use InsertText with Image Boxes.

The smart layout is placed on the slide.
  2. Edit each image

Click an image area to upload or replace. Use the menu on the item for focal point or Remove image.

Your images are placed in the layout's image slots.
