Edit Theme Settings

Lev Memo makes it easy for you to update the Memo's theme styles, allowing you to easily create Memos that are brand adherent and visually engaging.

Updated December 2025

Introduction

Lev Memo makes it easy to update the Memo's theme styles so every Memo stays brand-adherent and visually engaging.

One default theme per company

Each company has one default theme set during onboarding. Theme colors can be changed manually per Memo. To change the default theme itself, reach out to your Lev representative.

Per-component overrides

You can still change the styling of any individual component even if a default color has been set by the theme — local styling overrides the theme.

Change theme colors

Recolor any Memo without changing the default workspace theme.

  1. Open General Settings

Click the color palette icon in the top-right of the top toolbar.

The General Settings panel opens on the right.
  2. Expand Colors

Click the Colors collapsible to update colors across every component in the Memo.

    The color controls are visible.
  3. Pick a component group to update

Choose the group you want to recolor:

    • General — background and accent colors in the Memo
    • Text — colors for different text roles
    • Tables — colors for table components
    • Others — additional colors used elsewhere in the presentation
New colors apply instantly to every matching component in the Memo.

Change fonts

Pick the fonts Memo uses for headings and body text.

  1. Open General Settings

Click the color palette icon in the top-right of the top toolbar.

The General Settings panel opens on the right.
  2. Expand Fonts

Click the Fonts collapsible to update fonts across the Memo.

    The font controls are visible.
  3. Set each font control
    • Font Family — choose the fonts for headings and body text. All Google Fonts are available.
    • Font Size — choose the default font sizes used in the Memo.
The chosen fonts and sizes apply across the Memo.

Font Families are your pickable set

The Font Families defined here are the fonts you can pick from when editing individual text components.

Put your branding on every slide in the Memo.

  1. Open General Settings

Click the color palette icon in the top-right of the top toolbar.

The General Settings panel opens on the right.
  2. Enable the footer

Click the Footer collapsible and turn on the toggle.

The footer controls are active and a footer appears on every slide.
  3. Format the footer
    • Drag the cards in Content Layout to rearrange footer elements.
    • Change colors and swap the image used.
    • Resize footer elements.
Your footer looks the way you want and carries across every slide.

Footers help with consistency

Footers put your logo and branding on every slide in the Memo — great for brand consistency across lender-facing materials.

FAQ

Does everyone in my team get access to the same theme?

Yes — everyone in the same company or team shares the default theme.

Why can't I import my theme document as a theme?

Themes are set by our team behind the scenes today. If you want any changes to your theme, reach out to the Lev support team.

Can I use my own custom fonts?

Not today — we only support Google Fonts. Custom fonts are something we're looking to support in the future.

Will my footers appear in my published Memo and exported PDF or PowerPoint?

Yes, footers are included as long as they fit on the slide and aren't cut off by content overflow.

Can I customize footers differently for each slide?

Yes — click the footer directly on any slide and adjust the styling in that menu.

Can I save a theme that I've set in my Memo?

You can only have one default theme for your entire company today. Support for multiple themes is on the roadmap.
