Pipeline Reporting

Learn how to use pipeline reporting to view and understand deal-related metrics across your pipelines.

Updated June 2026

Pipeline reporting is a useful tool for viewing and understanding deal-related metrics across each of your pipelines — such as expected commissions, total number of deals, or aggregate loan amount.

What's being measured

There are three different fields you can edit to dictate what you want to observe in your report: Measure, Slice, and Segment.

Measure defines what you're calculating across your pipeline — the number you want to see totaled, like loan amount or commissions owed. See a list of the available measurement values below.

  • Deal Count — the number of deals in this pipeline.
  • Loan Amount — total dollar amount of loans from all deals in this pipeline.
  • Commission — total commission amount from all deals in this pipeline.
  • Net Earnings — total earnings from commissions minus any costs owed to other parties.
  • Payout — total commission amount you should expect from all deals in this pipeline.

Slice breaks that number down by a category, so instead of one aggregate total, you see how it's distributed across groups like property type or deal owner. See a list of the available slice values below.

  • Deal Owner — the owner of each deal in this pipeline.
  • Team Member — the different roles held by members of the deal team from each deal in this pipeline.
  • Sponsor — each sponsor that has been assigned to deals in this pipeline.
  • Property Type — the type of property each deal corresponds to in this pipeline.
  • Close Month — based on the assigned close date after a deal in this pipeline has been closed.
  • Estimated Close Month — based on the assigned close date before a deal in this pipeline has been closed.

Segment (optional) lets you breakdown data attributed to the Slice you've selected in your report. Segments and Slices have the same values to pick from, with two exceptions:

  • You don't have to select a Segment.
  • You can select Deal Status for Segments.

Creating the report

You can create a report for a specific pipeline, or a report for all your pipelines if you want to see aggregate stats across all of your deals.

  • Select the pipeline — Choose the pipeline you want to create a report for, then click Report in the top right of the screen.
  • Set Measure, Slice, and Segment — Click the values you want to view for each dropdown.
  • Review live results — The data in the report adjusts in real time based on the values you select.
  • Export — Click the download button above the segment dropdown menu to export a copy of your report.
