Does Lev support investment sales and equity raises?

Investment sales and equity raise functionality is currently in development and will be available soon. While we can create offering memorandums for these deal types today, we're building out the complete workflow support to handle investment sales and equity raises from start to finish. This expanded functionality is expected to launch within the next few weeks.

How do I update lender status after phone conversations?

When you have phone conversations with lenders that aren't captured automatically, you can manually update their status by clicking the dropdown menu and selecting the appropriate response (such as "Interested"). To keep detailed records, click on "Activity and Notes" to add your own notes about the conversation. If the lender provides terms during the phone call, you can add them manually by clicking "Terms" > "Add New Quote" or use the "Upload with AI" button to either type in the terms or upload a PDF term sheet for automatic parsing.

Do emails send through my own email account when I launch deals?

Yes, when you launch deals through Lev, emails are sent from your connected email account (such as Gmail). You'll see these emails in your regular inbox, and when lenders reply, their responses will appear in both your email account and automatically sync back to the Lev platform. This means you can reply to lenders directly from your Gmail, and those responses will still be tracked and displayed within the deal on Lev.

Do lenders need to create accounts to access the deal vault?

No, lenders don't need to create accounts to access the vault. Access is verified through their domain name (such as @valleynationalbank.com). When they click the vault link, the system detects their domain, prompts them to enter their email address, and sends a two-factor authentication code for secure access. The vault allows you to organize files however you want and provides lenders with one-click access to all deal documents without the hassle of account creation.

What types of lenders and contacts can I work with on the platform?

The platform supports most types of real estate lenders, including agency lenders and those offering SBA programs (though there's no specific SBA filter currently). You can communicate with lenders, sponsors, and borrowers directly through the platform. However, equity contacts like family offices are not currently supported, though this functionality is being developed. The platform is also expanding to include other deal participants such as attorneys and other closing process contacts.

Does Lev support single sign-on (SSO) integration?

Lev currently supports sign-in with Microsoft and Google accounts, but does not offer full SSO integration or automated user provisioning. When you log into Lev, you can use your Microsoft or Google email to authenticate, but user accounts must be manually created by our team on the backend. This is because Lev operates on a per-seat licensing model, so we need to properly manage user access within the bounds of your agreement. Full SSO integration would require roadmap planning and executive approval.

Is the Lev platform easy to learn and use?

Yes, the Lev platform is designed to be straightforward and user-friendly. Most users can complete basic workflows in 10-15 minutes once they're familiar with the interface. The platform walkthrough and onboarding process typically takes about 30 minutes, with most of that time spent on explanation rather than complex navigation.

How do I navigate between different sections of a deal without going back to the homepage?

Currently, navigation between deal sections like the deal book and outreach requires going through the homepage, which we recognize can be inefficient. We're working on improvements in the new version of the deal book that will allow direct navigation between sections. For now, you can click on the deal name to return to the deal overview, or use the search function to find and access specific deals directly.

How do I get started with Lev and access the platform?

Getting started with Lev involves a guided onboarding process. First, our team will ensure your user account is properly set up and that there's room in your organization's license allocation. Then we'll schedule a comprehensive onboarding and demo session where we'll walk you through the platform features, show you how everything works, and help you input your first deal. This hands-on approach ensures you're fully prepared to use all of Lev's capabilities effectively.
