Properties in the CRM give each asset its own record. You can search your portfolio, open a property, and work through structured tabs for building data, tenancy, financials, ownership, and imported tables. The sidebar stays visible as you move between tabs, so address, type, and pipelines stay in reach. Properties also link to deals on your account, and you can add them from the list or when you create a deal.
Open the properties list
Open CRM in the sidebar, then click Properties. The list shows every property in your workspace.
- Search the list — Use Search by name or address to filter properties. Lev matches on name and street address.
- Switch views — Toggle between list and map. The map plots the properties in your current result set.
- Open a property — Click a row to open that property on Overview.
- Load more — At the bottom of the list, click Load more when additional properties are available.
Add a property
Editors can create a property before it is tied to a deal.
- Open the dialog — On Properties, click New property.
- Enter the address — Fill in Address. Pick a suggested address when one appears so city, state, and ZIP stay accurate.
- Set asset type — Optionally choose Asset type.
- Save — Click New property. Lev opens the new record on Overview.
Lev also creates property records when you add a property to a deal. Those records appear in Properties and on the property’s Deals section on Overview.
Property record layout
A property record has a header, a sidebar, and main tabs.
- Breadcrumb — CRM → Properties → the property name returns you to the list or shows where you are in the CRM.
- Tabs — Overview, Property, Tenancy, Financials, Ownership, and Tables switch the main panel. On smaller screens, use the tab menu in the header.
- Sidebar — The map, core facts, About, and Pipelines stay fixed while you change tabs. Edit Address, Type, and Year built inline when you have editor access. Ownership in the sidebar summarizes current owners and links to their CRM records.
Overview tab
Overview is the home tab for relationships and context that span the asset.
- Deals — Lists deals linked to this property. Click a deal to open it, or View all to open your deals list. When a property was created from a deal, that deal appears here.
- Owners — Shows companies and contacts recorded as owners. Click Add owner, then choose Company or Contact and pick one or more records.
- Comparables — Tracks sales and lease comps. Click Add comparable, choose Sales or Lease, search for a property, and confirm Add comparable.
- Notes — Add notes for your team on this property. Notes stay on the record and do not go to lenders.
Property, Tenancy, and Financials tabs
Property, Tenancy, and Financials share the same field grid layout. Each tab shows the fields Lev groups for that part of the asset.
- Property — Building, site, and location metrics from your data and uploads.
- Tenancy — Occupancy fields plus a tenant roster when lease data exists.
- Financials — Income, expense, and valuation-style scalars for the asset.
Long text values live under groups such as Descriptions & notes. Lev collapses long values to two lines until you expand them.
Ownership tab
Ownership organizes title, project team, and debt in one place.
- Owners — Companies and contacts on title. Use Add owner to link a Company or Contact from the CRM.
- Previous owners — Appears when Lev has prior owner history for the property.
- Team — Project roles such as Developer, Property Manager, and Operator. Click Add team, pick a role, then add companies or contacts.
- Capital stack — Outstanding loan positions. Click New position to add a position, edit an existing row, or remove one you no longer need.
Tables tab
Tables shows imported spreadsheets tied to the property, such as rent rolls or operating statements.
- Review a table — Each section matches an imported table. Expand or collapse the section header to show or hide the grid.
- Zoom — Use the zoom control to resize dense tables, the same pattern as Index tables on a deal.
- Edit — When Lev has a source-of-truth row for the table, use the table editor to adjust values. Read-only sections stay view-only until data is linked.
For Index columns and filters on property pipelines, see Managing your Index data and Custom pipelines.
Edit fields on the record
On Property, Tenancy, Financials, and Ownership, use the toolbar above the field grid to find and update values.
- Search fields — Search fields on this record filters the grid by field name.
- Show empty fields — Click Show empty fields to reveal rows with no value yet. Click Hide empty fields to focus on populated data.
- Edit a value — Click a value you can edit and enter an update. Locked fields show a lock icon and cannot change until the underlying source allows it.
- Resolve conflicting values — When sources disagree, Lev surfaces the options so you can pick which value to keep.
- Change the source — Click the source chip on a field to open the source picker when more than one file or observation exists.
Values you set as source of truth on the property feed deal work and reporting that reference the same field taxonomy.
