How do I automatically send deal vault links to interested lenders?

There are two main ways to send vault links automatically:

  1. Automatic setting: Go to Settings > Lev Agents and enable 'automatically send deal room link when new lenders show interest.' This will automatically send vault links when lenders respond with interest.

  2. Bulk email: Go to Outreach, select multiple interested lenders, and use the bulk email feature. You can create email templates in Settings > Email Templates for consistent messaging that includes the vault link.

For individual sends, click on any contact in Outreach, compose your email, and use the vault link option from the inputs dropdown.

My spreadsheet didn't import cleanly — what can I do?

Reformat the sheet so it uses clear column headers. If it still won't read, ask Lev Agent to reformat the file into an importable structure, then upload the result.

Can I run a lender search from Lev Agent?

Yes. You can run a search on a deal in your pipeline — either select the deal or call it out directly — and the paginated results appear inline in the chat. From there you can add lenders to the deal as placements and ask the agent why a given lender ranked high or low.

Is the Lev email assistant an AI or a real person?

The email assistant at assistant@lev.com is an AI agent, not a real person. It's powered by a large language model that can ask clarifying questions via email if it needs more information, similar to how you might interact with other AI tools. The assistant typically responds within 5-15 minutes of receiving your email.

Does the AI chatbot know which deal I'm currently viewing?

Currently, the AI chatbot doesn't have contextual awareness of which deal page you're viewing, so it won't automatically know which specific deal you're asking about. When you ask questions, you'll need to be specific by including the deal number, deal name, or lender name to get targeted information. For example, instead of asking "How is outreach going?" you would ask "How is outreach going on deal #12345?" The system provides universal reporting across all your deals unless you specifically filter by these identifiers.

What can I use the AI chatbot for besides creating deals?

The AI chatbot offers several helpful features beyond deal creation. You can use it to summarize your entire pipeline, get reports on lender responses across your deals, and receive updates on next steps for different transactions. It's particularly useful for questions like "Which lenders have I reached out to in the last 30 days?" or "What's the status of my multifamily deals?" The chatbot can analyze patterns across your portfolio and provide insights to help you manage your workflow more effectively.

If I refresh the page during a long memo, underwriting, or sponsor-finder run, do I lose progress?

No. Chat sessions now resume when you refresh — you'll see the process is still running instead of losing your progress.

What does the sponsor finder agent return?

Lev Agent returns a list of matching sponsors with key decision-maker contacts, downloadable as a CSV. After the results come back, the agent offers to add the contacts to your CRM and automatically applies labels based on your search parameters. From there you can launch outreach.

Does Lev Agent use my private CRM contacts in originate searches?

No. Contacts you upload to your CRM stay private. Originate and sponsor-finder searches use Lev's research data, not your imported contact list.

What are the deal action buttons next to Lev Agent?

Deal pages include action buttons that run preset Lev Agent workflows — for example, finding similar deals or sponsor prospects — without writing a prompt from scratch.

What is the KYC (Know Your Customer) agent?

The KYC agent runs background research on a person or company so you can assess who you're working with before a deal. Give it a name and the firm — adding the company website or an email improves accuracy. It searches public sources for lawsuits, bankruptcies, failed projects, and news, then produces a PDF you can store on the deal and share internally.

What information should I give the KYC agent for a good result?

Identify the specific person and company — a name alone (like "John Davis") returns weak results, and common names can pull up the wrong person. Add the firm name, and the website or email when you have them. The more specific you are, the more accurately the agent identifies the right individual.

Where does the KYC agent get its data — does it use credit reports or Lev's private data?

The KYC agent uses only publicly available sources scraped from the web. It does not run credit checks, tap private databases, or use any data that sponsors have uploaded to Lev.

Can Ideal Sponsor Finder add its results to my CRM?

Yes. After a search returns its results as a CSV file, the agent asks whether you want to add the contacts to your CRM. When you confirm, it adds them and automatically applies labels based on your search parameters — like geography, loan amount, and asset type.
