MCP Apps

See how Lev MCP Apps turn supported tool results into interactive views, including the redesigned deal vault browser for files and memos.

Updated June 2026

What MCP Apps show

MCP Apps are visual companions to tool results. In supported clients, Lev can return a widget alongside the model-readable result so you can inspect the same data without leaving the chat.

Clients that do not render MCP Apps still receive the underlying tool result. The visual app does not replace the tool contract or change the Lev API endpoint behind it.

Deal vault browser

The browse_deal_vaults app shows a deal's document workspace. It groups the deal's Resources folder first, then shows shared Deal Rooms with monogram tiles. Rows use Lev file-type icons for uploaded files and the memo mark for generated deal memos.

Open a vault to see its memos and uploaded documents together. Rows open into a preview when the file can render inline. The Ask action appears on hover or keyboard focus for clients that support sending a follow-up message.

Visual states

Previewable images and PDFs open inside the app view. The toolbar keeps the back action, file title, and fullscreen control visible while the document is open.

Draft memos route to a detail state instead of adding a row-level warning. When a memo has not rendered a PDF yet, the app explains that there is no PDF to open.
