# Smart Templates

Smart Templates let you save the format of a memo you like and reuse it when building future OMs, so you don't start from scratch each time. Templates are created from within a memo, and once saved they're available whenever you create a new memo.

Create a Smart Template

Start by opening the memo you want to use as a template.

- **Save the memo as a template** — Click *save memo as template* on the top right of the screen.
- **Add name & description** — Add a name and description for your template.
- **Finish saving** — Click *save copy as template*; your template can now be used when creating future OMs.
