Enrichment lets you fill contact fields from a contact, from the [contacts list](/learn/crm/using-the-crm), from a contact pipeline list, and from unlocked rows in [Sourcing](/learn/sourcing/sourcing-contacts). On the contacts list, an empty field takes a match only after you start an enrich run. A field that already has a value keeps what you entered and shows the new suggestions. Labels and pipeline membership for those rows sit on the same results table.

## How values are applied {#how-values-are-applied}

**Enrichment** fills Email, Phone, Title, LinkedIn, Location, and Photo. On the contacts list, an empty field takes the highest-confidence match only after you start an enrich run. Opening the contacts list does not apply a staged value on its own. A verified value wins when confidence is tied. Email candidates are tried from highest confidence down, and the next candidate is used when a higher one is refused. Extra emails land on *Other emails*. *Work* and *Mobile* are separate phone slots, and each slot takes the highest-confidence match for that slot. A number with no phone type fills *Work* when no candidate is already marked for a slot. Company never applies on its own.

A field that already has a value keeps it. Extra candidates on the contacts list use the Lev star beside that value. An empty cell receives the best match and does not show a found count. On a sourcing results row, further matches show as a + count that opens *Emails* or *Phone numbers*. While a cell is running it reads Enriching. A failed apply can be retried from that count.

**[Review and edit](/learn/crm/import-workflow#review-and-edit)** — choose enrichment values while you review an import.

## Enriching one contact {#enriching-one-contact}

The contact header can enrich the whole profile in one action.

- **Open the menu** — On the contact, click *Contact options*.
- **Enrich the profile** — Click *Enrich full profile*.

## Enriching a list {#enriching-a-list}

The contacts list and a contact pipeline list use the same actions on the rows you select.

- **Enrich the selection** — Select contacts, click *Enrich contacts*, then choose *Full profile* or one field, with address shown as *Location*.
- **Enrich one column** — With rows selected, click the enrich control on the *Address*, *Email*, or *Phone* header.
- **Open extra matches** — Click the Lev star beside a filled cell.
- **Apply a suggestion** — Click *Apply*.
- **Clear a suggestion** — Click *Dismiss*.

While a run is in progress, the control reads Contact enrichment is in progress.

## Labels and pipelines on results {#labels-and-pipelines-on-results}

After you unlock a contact, the results table adds *Labels*, *Deals*, *Pipelines*, and, when shown, *Campaigns*, in that order. Those columns keep labels and pipeline membership on the same row as the contact.

An empty labels cell reads *Select labels*, and *Add labels* on the selection applies them to the unlocked contacts you are acting on. An empty pipelines cell reads *Select pipelines*. Adding a contact to a pipeline from this table is covered in [adding contacts to a pipeline](/learn/sourcing/sourcing-contacts#adding-contacts-to-a-pipeline).
